Prototype F1 from YOKOMO


Team YOKOMO has made a press release on a soon-to-be-released F1 car kit. It is expected to have the latest innovations incorporated into its design.

Some information:
  New chassis for narrow rubber tires (190mm width)
  Floating Servo Stay
  Flexible battery layout
  Adjustable frong tread
  Adjustable rear hight
  Inline, Trail adjustable front steering knuckle
  Large sized pitching damper

Updated YOKOMO F1 car kit available


New and updated Team YOKOMO YRF-001W F1 car kit available now with updated suspension system.


The revised suspension improved the cornering abilities with controlled rolling effect.



It comes standard with standard and extended width front suspension arm for both rubber and foam tires application.

Team YOKOMO @ MIICC 2013


Congratulations to Team YOKOMO for capturing the titles in the recent MIICC 2013 (MALAYSIA INTERNATIONAL INDOOR CARPET CHAMPIONSHIP 2013)

Special congratulation to the organizer, Kelab Kereta Kawalan Jauh Kota Raja Kelang (KRRCC) , for successfully hosting the 1st race.

Led by Meen (Team YOKOMO driver) from Thailand, Team YOKOMO captured 6 places out of 10 in A main (10.5T Pro Stock Class)

YOKOMO YRF-001 TQ and won @ 3Stone Park


Piloted by Mr. C.K. Yap, YOKOMO YRF-001 F1 TQ and won the race in the first EP Onroad race @ 3Stone Park.

Our very own, Kow Jacq, qualified 2nd but has to retired early in the final due to technical problem.

He also finished A Main 2nd in the 13.5T Touring Class at the same event.  A very happy weekend for Mr. CK Yap. :)

Video on AllStar Speed Passion Championship Round 4 - A1 Final for F1 Class

Team YOKOMO YRF-001 swept F1 class in AllStar Speed Passion Championship 2013


Team YOKOMO Malaysia has done very well in the recent AllStar Speed Passion Championship 2013.

After TQ and won the Round 3 on its first debut, YRF-001 piloted by Mr. C.K. Yap, continued to TQ in Round 4 and finished a respetable 2nd in A main. Mr. Leonard Ong won the A main.

New servo setup for YOKOMO YRF-001



Our very own Mr. C.K. Yap of Team YOKOMO Malaysia had recommended a new mounting position for the servo on the new YOKOMO YRF-001 F1 car.


The new position of the servo provides:
  • Better grip on the servo holder as it provides more surface for the double sided tape to hold the servo down
  • Forward servo saver to provide better ackerman to the linkage.
  • Smoother steering response.

YOKOMO Rear Belted Tires for F1

Rear belted slick tire (Soft/with Heat regist inner foam) for YRF 001



The new belted tires will reduce the growth of dimension during operation which provides overall improved traction.
