We have been quiet for a while.  Many things had happened and we were forced into situations that we didn't prepare for.  We have been operating for 21 years since 1997 and we thought we had experienced the Ups and Downs in business trends and product cycles.  But in the last few months, we had to make many changes and adjustments.  We had to move to a new location within a very short notice, business dropping like flies, back-stabbing from so-called "friends", ending of YIDM series, relinquishing of area distribution rights, etc.  However, we have managed to adjust ourselves to all these situations and move on.  And we have decided to make a big leap into a new direction.

Rear Toe Control System for BD8 and BD7-2016

Yokomo has confirmed the release of Rear Toe Control System for the successful BD8 and BD7-2016.  It is possible to control the toe angle actively and enable the car to have more grip and steering.  The performance of this kit has been proven though numerous races by Team YOKOMO.

New Gear Diff for BD7/8 series

Yokomo have released an updated gear differential unit which is co-usable at BD7-2016 and new model BD8.

An updated differential unit had already shown its durable performance with BD8 while at IFMAR world championship in Beijing, driven by Ronal Volker.

New High Torque Rear Belt for BD-7 series

New from Yokomo comes this high torque rear belt for their BD7 series of cars.

The new belt encompasses a new high torque material which lasts far longer than traditional

touring car belts as well as improved acceleration out of corners due to the strength of the belt

which minimizes stretch and the skipping of belts.

New Chassis and Upperdeck for YOKOMO BD7

Yokomo has released a new carbon chassis designed for tracks with medium to low grip surfaces,
the new chassis which is made from a new carbon weave which is stiffer, however also slightly
thinner than the standard has more cutouts in the center which provides a better-balanced flex front
and rear, resulting in more corner speed and initial steering.

High Traction Upper Deck
Yokomo has released a new soft top deck to compliment their Aluminium chassis, The new
softer top deck improves traction and provides a more progressive feel, which translates to
more side bite.

The new top deck proved very successful at the recent ETS in Austria over the weekend,
with both stock and modified drivers preferring the softer top deck with the aluminium chassis
on the ETS carpet.

New Suspension Block for BD-7 series

Yokomo have released a new option part for the BD7 - 2016. A new aliminium suspension block for the front rear that the team have had considerable success with at recent events, AOC, ETS and the DHI cup last week. The team have advised the new block has increased steering response as well as changed the flex charachteristics and improved corner speed. The block will be suitable for medium to high traction surfaces.

Team YOKOMO BD7-2016 announced!

Team YOKOMO has shared more details on their new car.  With pictures and comparisons to the older model. Pre-order is opened for registration.


The entire chassis design is moved toward lower CG to improve on handling and cornering speed.

In order to compensate for the volume of oil inside the shock cylinder, Yokomo has increased the diameter of the shock body.

Now, Double-Joint UJ is a standard equipment in the new car.
