We have been quiet for a while.  Many things had happened and we were forced into situations that we didn't prepare for.  We have been operating for 21 years since 1997 and we thought we had experienced the Ups and Downs in business trends and product cycles.  But in the last few months, we had to make many changes and adjustments.  We had to move to a new location within a very short notice, business dropping like flies, back-stabbing from so-called "friends", ending of YIDM series, relinquishing of area distribution rights, etc.  However, we have managed to adjust ourselves to all these situations and move on.  And we have decided to make a big leap into a new direction.

This will the preferred sale channel to promote all our products which include Yokomo, AKA Racing, T Works, Speed Passion, G-Force, Lee Speed Racing, etc.  This online store is in addition to our existing store in the Malaysian Lazada.  We will continue to update all items that we have in our inventory, and that is a huge number that exceed 2000 items.  We welcome inquiry from local as well as overseas customers as we will ship both domestically and overseas. Please bear with us for the meantime as we are updating the quirks of shipping with our logistics partners.

Meen Vejrak joins Team Yokomo

We wholeheartedly welcome Meen into Team Yokomo.  It is definitely a great news to us as Meen will be racing in both touring and offroad classes for Team Yokomo throughout 2013.

He has shared the setup of his Yokomo BD7 for the coming TITC race. (13.5T class)

Team Yokomo has exhibited a prototype chassis for the Yokomo Dmax drift car.  It is unclear at the moment if this model will make it to production.

It can accomodate standard lipo battery, revised center bulkhead, etc.  Watch this blog for future updates.

NEWS! Hayato returns to Team Yokomo?????

Got an unconfirmed news. The young ace, Hayato, maybe returning to Team Yokomo. Now he is running a Yokomo BD5 in Reedy International 2012.

Will update when we get more confirmed details.

Team Yokomo Japan will participate in 51th Shizuoka Hobby Show

Yokomo Japan will particiapte in this years; Shizuoka Hobby Show.  It is scheduled to be held from 17th - 20th May.  However, only 19th & 20th will be opened to public.

We hope to see some new items this year. Yokomo is tight-lipped about it at this moment.  :-)

New "shorty" battery from Team Yokomo

Finally, Team Yokomo has announced the release of the shorty LiPo battery pack which is gaining popularity in the EP 2WD offroad scene.  As Yokomo is moving to the final product release of their Bmax2, they are going to make the shorty pack available at about the same time.
